The top page of your Web site must be the index page.

Remember the "3-Clicks" rule. There should be clear navigation that will permit your visitors to reach any of your pages within 3 clicks. When planning your site you should plan the overall layout of your site Web pages as well as a theme that is carried throughout your Web page design.
