Since I started repairing old clocks some 20 years ago, I must have seen nearly every type of mechanism there is.  Each has a history and all the testimonials will show just how. They are loved by their owners who will  tell you with pride that, “It belonged to my father. And it belonged to his father as well so it probably goes back in our family”

The magnificent tick of a ‘Grandfather, or Long Case clock’, may seem to be the heart beat of the home.   Every clock has its own history. That’s part of my fascination - breathing it back to life. 

I believe that every master timepiece should be revived, and enjoyed.

We will be moving from Loughton, Essex in the UK to St. Maarten (St.Martin - Sint Maarten) in the Caribbean, not far from the Dominican Republic, Antigua, Barbuda, Dominica, San Juan, St. Kitts and Nevis in the spring of 2010.
