How can I start producing my first Web page?

It takes less than five seconds to produce the simplest Web page. This assumes that you have a program, usually a word processing package such as MS Word:-

File > New > Blank Document

Type anything you wish e.g. ‘Welcome To My Web site’.

File > Save As   - provide document name and Save As HTML document or Web Page according to the options provided.

Congratulations!  You have created and saved your first Web page.   The complexity of a Web page will depend on the amount of text, the addition of graphics and hyperlinks to other pages on your site or to other Web sites. If your Web site is going to be more than a few pages I would recommend Frontpage
